It's been a rather uneventful week in this household. Thank goodness
Someone continues to feel his oats. And we are hearing more and more dramatic "no!" It's especially awesome when it occurs in public. Such as when Mama is in line at the grocery store and someone insists on paying. Now, normally Mama would find humerous his request to pay but not in a packed store with grumpy looking people all around. Off we went, grocery in hand and a screaming little boy "No No No" as if to say, ladies I will return. To which I'm sure the cashier was thinking please don't choose my lane.
And to the people of Boston, our hearts go out. So many crazy people doing really scary stuff. Makes me sad that the day of innocence may be gone. But watching first responders jump into the fray to help others, you get the deep sense that the American spirit goes on. We won't be intimidated by terrorist who spew hatred. And the same goes for South Koreans approach to the north. Mama, there are bad people in this world. Yes baby unfortunately there are. But as Mr Rogers mother so eloquently said when you're scared, watch the people helping.
