Week In Rewind
This has been a tough week for members of the Trojan family. The death of Junior Seau is still raw for me.
I still see that beast of a middle linebacker, playing at SC. You couldn't help but fall in love with him as a football player. That raw talent with so much heart. But after reading many of the stories shared of his life, it's obvious he was an even better person. We love you buddy and were going to miss number 55. Fight On Junior. You can bet when the little guy gets old enough he'll have a 55 jersey.
News of the little guy you ask. Well, someone has learned to open the pantry door to get at food. Which means food has to be moved to higher shelves. But more worrisome, can the fridge be far behind? This kid may eat us out of the house.
On Tuesday, someone was not a happy camper when picked up. After crying and screaming for a good half hour and FaceTime with Grandma, we figured out that he was hungry. See comment above. Boy, we're in trouble.
On Wednesday, we went for a walk at the park. Someone's head is to big for his Phillies cap. I couldnt help but laugh when I saw it. He looked like a 40 year old still trying to fit into his high school lettermen's jacket, too funny.
Thursday brought a night of singing. Pulled out all the favs, but with a new twist for Wheels on the Bus. He now has a new dance move that's sure to impress the ladies.
Friday, brought Mama and baby boy time while Dada golfed. I love the quiet time before bed when we curl together for "ticky". Someone loves his tickies and isn't shy about showing Mama where to focus. Here Mama.
Today, brought a trip to the grocery. And us driving smack into a parade. Which led to a 40 minute roundabout trip. The funny thing is that we did the same thing last year. Not to self, no early grocery trip on the 1st Saturday in May next year.
Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone.
