Week in Rewind

This has been a little haphazared type of week for this family. Monday started with Mama having stiffness in her bad leg. By Tuesday, I could barely walk. So, off to Rothman we went. Which was quickly followed by a trip with an MRI. And thankfully good new. My IT Band was tight again, which makes my bad kneecap not move freely. Rest and stretching should do the trick.

And thank goodness for that. Because the little guy is always on the go these days. Mama needs to be at her best to keep up. Pretty funny to watch him plop down next to me and mimic the stretching. Ah, to be that flexible again.

The little guy has been busy this week as well. He found his music book from his Korean foster family and immediately went into his happiness place. This little guy has rythem. He desperately keeps trying to sing the words, which is really cute.

On Tuesday, we mowed the lawn. And someone really loves his tractor. All boy.

Wednesday brought a confusing dinner night. The little guy is really starting to vocalize himself. Unfortunately, at times we can't figure it out. He's proudly developed his own language. And boy does he not like it when you can't understand him. Which led to confusion at dinner. He knew what he wanted but no one else did. Turns out it was strawberries. Which sounded more like apple. (Mama what do you mean that you can't figure it out)

Thursday, Mana was immobile so Dada, the pups and the little guy headed off to the park for a walk. Pretty funny to watch Trojan looking behind for Mama. My other baby.

Friday, brought the news that the little guy will be headed to a bigger classroom at daycare. And wait for it, with a. Big boy toilet! We're still working on potty training, but it's confusing when daycare doesn't put him on one because not in the classroom.

Today, we headed to Ridley State Park. Mama was feeling better but didn't last long with walking. So while I sat, off the little guy went with Dada. And he squealed with delight trying to throw stones into the water. It seems the first Korean quarterback for USC still has some work to do. He missed the water big time with his aim. I'm sure Bark started the same way!
