It's official, the little guy had a great week.
He started on Saturday with a ride on his big boy bike. Let me set the picture. Our development sits across the street to an awesome park with a biking/running/walking lane...and on the weekends, the soccer fields are packed. As we strolled over as a family, we safely navigated the road. But as luck would have it, there's a small hill onto the lane...and then a bigger hill onto the soccer field (with game in progress) and parents cheering on their kids. As we approached, Daddy said make sure to go slow and brake. But let's be honest, those two things are not part of the boy's DNA. So, as he went full steam ahead down the little hill onto the lane-and straight down the field onto the soccer field...well remarkable, in spite of picking up serious speed, the little guy kept the bike upright and intruded right into the game (which thankfully was on the other end of the field). Mama, of course, couldn't quit laughing...because it was so darn funny...and trust me, it still gives me the giggles. With that said, the boy has luck...no broken bones or running over, the hot chickado playing soccer.
Monday, he had a snow day. And sledding, more shoveling and snow angels..
This week also saw the little guy earn his first kid's belt. So it turns out, that the boy with his butt initially sticking up in the air...has some skills. He counted to 10 in Korean. Named Korean body parts...and well, kicked, punched and "yeee awwwd" his way to the yellow belt. Afterward we celebrated at Old MacDonalds. That's when he asked are you proud of me...always buddy, always...but especially when your butt isn't sticking up in the air, holler!
