Company Picnic

Last weekend, we ventured out to Dada's company picnic. And it did not disappoint. Lots of food, live music and kid friendly. There's a reason his company is consistently ranked in Fortune as a great place to work.

But someone could care less about that company ranking. Why, you might ask? Choo Choo Mama. In this little boy's eyes, this company is the best ever because it's picnics have a Choo Choo.

Week in Rewind

Folks, we may have a little fish on our hands. Someone went from being a little unsure of this thing called swimming to motoring around in his life vest. Can someone say Olympic champion

Not so Olympian this week, the little guy's haircut. There was so much promise going into it. He sat perfectly still last time letting the beautician cut is beautiful locks. So as we approached, There was much hope. It all began while Mama was getting her hair cut. The words No No rumbled through the place. It seems someone was unhappy with the cookie selection. No vanilala cream, duh! This led to one of the girls going back to find other cookies (ladies, I told you this one is a charmer even when mad). When that didnt appease him, a strawberry lolli pop appeared and did the trick. Which led to him refusing to give it up during his hair cut.

Note to self, the combo of cut hair and lolli pop slobber equals hot mess! By the end, someone's face was as hairy as a monkey, random hair and slob glued to his face.

Note to self 2: taking your child into the bathroom to use a wet paper towel to get he hair off, not a good idea. An even hotter mess.

The good news, someone has a new hair cut and while not perfect isn't that bad considering! And yes, someone had a bath even though it was well beyond his bedtime.
