So last weekend, we did get hit with close to a two foot blizzard. And I'm not going to lie, Saturday was a long day. We woke to close to a foot of snow. Shoveled out a path for the girls...because these girls need grass to do their business. Ate lunch. Watched the snow fall all day long. Listened to the hollowing winds. By night fall, this mommy was officially done with it. And we had electric, Mike's parents did not.
So when the sun rose on Sunday morning...we woke with a new resolve. Clean up and then lots and lots of play time. And the boy loved every moment of it. Check out his ice fort. We spent two days making it and it has its own tunnel system.
As for the girls, they love the snow. We laughed as Bella charged the highest drift, barked wildly and then dropped through the bank. But as I said, it's all fun and games until they come inside with thousands of tiny snowballs on their fur. And it drives them mad,,,
In a nutshell, we survived the Blizzard of 2016. I'm just happy that high 50 forecast are in the near future--short weather ladies!
