Goodbye Partner in Crime
Ever heard the phrase takes one to know one. Well, these two were destined to cross paths. Ornery giggles between them....."Do it again Michael!!!"
Family Time
The last couple of days have been spent with family. The little guy is very lucky to have such wonderful relatives.
For us, that's what has made this holiday season so special. Family, family, family from Philly to Ohio.

Tis The Season
Move over patrons of Pisanello's. Last night, we headed over to the local pizza shop for a night of revelry. Or in plain talk, we got our chow down on. And yes, it included most of the family (because that's how we roll)
As for the little guy..two slices, brownies and cookies. A veteran pizza lover, for sure. This was promptly followed by a big time potty break upon our arrival home. Or as he said "Mama, I think I ate too much. I've got a tummy ache". Preciously son. It's called the yin and yang of Pisannelos. The boy still has much learning to do.

Christmas Morning
You know that energy of Christmas morning that a child has...well someone has caught that fever. Or as the little guy said, Mama, Santa ate two cookies, as he made a straight line to the toys. He promptly pointed all of his toys. Or as he said, this one, and this one, and this one. Whew, so many toys...so little time. What is a boy to do. Or as the little guy said after each gift "YES Yes Yes". Someone is not hard to please
Merry Christmas Everyone. May your day be filled with the Christmas Wonder of a child

Christmas Eve
Last night, we headed over to Aunt Margie's for a night filled with food and family. And on the way over, we had a Santa sighting.
Then there was the big reveal. Uncle Michael announced the new baby that is on the way. We all can't wait to watch him change diapers, lol
This family knows how to rock Christmas Eve. Thank you Linn Sisters for keeping the farm tradition.

And So The Craziness Begins
Yes, that is camo Michael after a trip to Wall Mart....in search of PJs. The wife's response, Oh Voy.
The little guy did great in the trip over. Thank you Planes movie
Sleep has been a hodge podge. Who needs sleep Mama? Not this little guy, who woke at 5, had a mini meltdown (to wake the family) and is now crashed on the floor sound to sleep.
Nothing like a country run at near 60 degree temps. But, back to reality...30 today. Me thinks, if its going to be this cold bring the snow. Sledding at the Hoyles back hill, holler!

The B Family Christmas
We headed over yesterday to our first Christmas party. And what a wild and crazy party it was--kidding, or am I?
The little guy received ton of new stuff to play with, thank you everyone. I think the tool kit was just a slight hit...as in he would have slept with it if allowed. Its official we have not one but two Tool Time Tim's. and in the little guys case, drooping pants to fit the role.
But Mama really liked the home made tooth fairy pillow. What an awesome gift from a smart and talented Great Grandmom
Lets not forget Aunt Toni's incredible cookies. A Mama favorite, raspberry Oreo drop, was out of this world. And yes, death by cookie dough would be a wonderful way to go

Week in Rewind: Dec 13
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Ok, so we've had a ton of snow this past week and with more in the forecast for tomorrow, that adds up to a lot of snow. But someone seems not to mine. This little guy stomps through the snow with the greatest of ease...or at least until he gets tired and refuses to move. He builds snowmen that are 6 feet tall...or at least 2 feet tall and which point, he promptly smashes them. And dont even get me started with sledding...Mama, bunny hills are for losers. To say, we've had some fun the last couple of days would be an understatement...and this from a Mama that hates cold and snow
Ok, what deranged individual thought up the Elf concept. Especially, an Elf that moves each night. I mean, how many different places can he possibly go. And don't get me started on those creative bunches who build snow fights for the Elf and cute tea parties with fury, stuffed friends.
No, our Elf is lucky just to be sitting upright on something...or in our case, still attached to the door...upside down. As I explained to the little guy, what an awesome gymnastic move. Now, where, oh where will the Elf end up tomorrow morning.

Santa At The Firehouse
Today we made a last minute decision to see Santa at the local firehouse. Someone was super excited and sang the whole way there. But when confronted by the enormity of Santa, the little guy had second thoughts. So in went Mama.
It was the best of all worlds. Santa and a fire house. Lately, the little guy has been super in love with both. And when asked what he wanted, an ambulance, fire truck and police car were at the top of his list. To which Santa said, you came to the right place. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause

We have another peanut butter lover in the family
When the little guy first visited CHOP, the doctor said wait until he's three years old to try peanut butter. So, we tried for the first time a few weeks ago. These days it seems like a lot of kids are allergic to nuts....not this boy.
To say he has fallen in love with peanut butter would be an understatement. And with so many options, P&B, Buckeyes, Reece Peanut Butter Cup, Peanut Butter cookies. The list is endless and oh so good.
This one goes out to you Troy Hoyles. All of those years ago, you were on to something...the joys of peanut butter.

The Long Goodbye
This morning the in laws headed back to Ohio. House has been a little quiet. The little guy had lots of fun being catered too. There were plenty of belly laughs and books to read. And bubble baths made by a special someone. The time went fast...
I'm not going to lie, it's also been a little tiring for someone...who insisted on pushing the midnight oil. So we saw our share of meltdowns. When you wake at 5am it can only mean one thing: you're excited to greet a new day. Unfortunately by 10, a tired little boy appeared. So as we navigate through this age group, Mommy can only hope a little sleep will help. Because we're going to need it, for Christmas.
