Mullica Hill Fair

Today we headed over to the local fair. I swear the little guy is part country. Giddy Up.

His favorite part, riding the tractor around the fairgrounds. And no, it wasn't a John Deere. But that didn't temper his pure joy.

Batter Up

Hey batter, batter.  Swing batter.

This week we introduced the little guy to baseball.  And to our surprise, he didnt do too badly.  Swing at it, check. Hit it hard, check.  This games right up his alley.

Tonight, the little guy and I are spending some Mama and son time. Daddy's golfing?  Yes, Daddy's golfing.  You know what that means...we'll have fun, fun, fun, til Daddy takes the t-bird away.
 Yippee...

Oh, for the love of "why".  These days the little guy asks an abundance of whys.  Such as, the race car  isn't to be used on you dinner plate,  Why?  Or, don't use the markers on the sofa, why?   Don't drink out of the milk carton, why?   Mama's favorite, don't pick your nose, why?  For the love of why, don't pick our nose.

Week in Rewind: Some like it hot

Is it hot enough for you?  This week, we've been stuck in a heat wave. As in, 100 degrees with sticky humidity and glaring sun. Or as the little guy likes to say, it's hot Mama.  Or, I'm going nude Mama, because its hot outside.

It's been that type of week.  Play all day inside. Drink plenty of liquids. And jump in the pool around seven. Repeat, rinse, start again

But not so fast my friends, there have been some game changers. The little guy finally is getting some Korean. He's been working for weeks on his numbers and this week he's finally  anticipating the next number. Holler!  Mama also learned the word for "no".  Holler!

The little guy also made the big transition to no diaper at night. He hasn't gone for a long time at night so off they came.  And hence the comment. I don't need no underwear, Mama, it's hot.

You know it's hot when....the little guy marches outside, jumps off the diving board and says do it again.  Or when the dogs haven't moved from the same position for days. Say, is Trojan sleeping on the air duct?  Or when the little guy uses ever excuse to shed his clothes (I'm handsome and I know it).  Some like it hot baby!

Week In Rewind

Ever wonder to yourself, just where did an entire week go? That in a nutshell was our week.

It's always busy getting back into a routine after a vacation. But Mama, it's not time for bed? Really.

And this is the week that someone discovered rice Krispy treats, or as the little guy says Christmas treats. Good Mama, Good.

Another first, swimming while holding his breath. That's my boy. My little fish. Mama, don't embarrass me.

And finally, the little guy is ready for the Uncle Mike's Pisanello challenge. Stomach of steel, baby!

Riding Off Into The Horizon

When The Moon Comes Out

That's when the crazies come out. That ain't stopping me Mama. After a quick refueling, we finished strong. Mine Ride, Iron Dragon and some other crazy upside down contraption. Yes, we are big time thrill seekers, no Dragster in our future.

But what night wouldn't be complete without a final Merry Go Round.

Dragster Baby

But we were all mesmerized by The Dragster. That crazy roller coaster that seemed to suck people into another orbit.

First Roller Coaster

And yes, the day would not be complete without his first big ride: Gemini Jr.

Roller Coaster number 1. 99 more to catch up with Uncle Jason. Say what Mama!

Getting Down To Business

That's when we got down the serious business of thrill ridding. Locked and loaded, Mama. There was the Tilt A World (rocked that multiple times, more spins the better). The old steadfast, Scrambler. (Stop this thing a cute bunny just when bye). Swings for Mama, Uncle Dick and Grandma (Oh My!) And of course, the old classic, The Gemini, for Dadda and Grandpa.

Train Ride

Choo Choo, come and ride the train ladies. After walking and walking...and more walking, we headed over to ride the train to Frontier Land. Did we really only walk half the park at that point?

And yes, even Uncle Larry rode this one.

Say Mama, did you happen to see the fine little girl in the pink stroller.

Cedar Point

Summer, Summer Summertime

Yesterday we loaded up the cars and headed north to Cedar Point. Ladies, we have a thrill seeker. Mama, let's rock this kiddy land

Birthday Celebration Fit For A King

Our little guy turned three. Hard to imagine the growth he has experienced
His first clumsy moments with us. (Yes, we had no idea how to change his diaper. And yes, that changed quickly). To his first spoken words: kitty and duck. That quickly accumulated to full grown sentences: no mama, I don't want to do it.

Where did the time go. Our baby turned three. We love you silly goose, even more with each passing year. So yes, we had a birthday celebration fit for a king, filled with love and fun.

Mama, I totally rocked that birthday party. And ladies, one more closer to my dating charms!
