The Zoo

Today, we headed to the zoo with the grandparents. And someone had an awesome time. Warning this day is picture heavy. Too hard not to include all of the great pics.

Where to begin? I know with our buddy the Polar Bear.

As you can see, the big bear toyed with us by standing cliff side, daring us to believe that he was about to jump into the water. We, the audience, waited with baited breath. Would he jump or not.

And when you backed your little rear end over the cliff, I thought maybe he'll do an elegant back flip scoring a perfect ten. But you scoffed at us and instead did what we've been trying to teach the little guy to do. Potty! Or as the little guy likes to say AWE POOP MAMA....

And into the pool. So to that I say, Mr. Polar Bear, we know what you did this summer and it wasn't pretty..

The litle guy sure likes his moo moo. This little cow statute sure was cute. And so what if we ignored the litle sign that said, this cow if for milking and not riding. Duh, you can't milk a statute so it must be for riding. See how we were able to deduce reason from an absurd sign. Let's just say you can't get anything past this family.

And someone had a blast on the pony. Pop Pop did a wonderful job of getting him on it. Say there nice little lady, does thing have another gear. Giddy up!

Speaking of giddy up, we hit the mother load with the tractor. Someone loves his tactolaw....it took three weeks to understand that he means tractor lawn. And trust me, there was a time that we thought he was speaking Korean.

This little guy also likes his ducks. Quack, Quack Mama. Beat the Ducks!

This gem of a bird is beautiful. Too bad that was lost on the little guy when it got a litle too close for comfort. As Alfred Hitchcock would say, The Birds!

Happy Father's Day

We headed over to Mike's parents to celebrate Father's Day. Can you tell someone had a blast? After an awesome steak dinner, we headed outside for some fun time.

Someone learned how to roll down the hill with some help from Pop Pop.

And he giggled with delight while chasing bubbles with Ma Ma.

And then there is the elegance of Great Grandmom.

Brave little Kadi was the only one that made it into the pool. She also did an awesome time of showing the little guys the ropes.

A pretty good first Father's Day. The little guy is pretty lucky to have an amazing family and a really good Dada. Happy 1st Father's Day Dada. We love you.

And a little scared of Horsie

Today we headed over to Lancaster, to Amish country. And someone loved the horses from afar. Up close, we'll le's just say that was a different perspective.

Someone was excited

But the big hit was Choo Choo. Someone was very excited with seeing his beloved trains. Can you see the excitement in his eyes

Thomas the Train

And when it came time to board Thomas the Train, someone kept shouting Choo Choo. Which made fighting through all the crowds worth it.

Of course, a train ride would not be compete without a conductor hat. I'm rockin the train hat, Mama.

I would love to know what his running through that little boy's head.

Act calm Dada, this train actually moves!

Post Race Celebration

Yesterday, we went with Pop Pop and Ma Ma to watch Dada run his race. And Dada did not disappoint by shattering his old time. The little guy clapped with excitement. Proud of you Dada.

And someone was quiet the ham for his grandparents. After the race we headed back to their house for hoagies. That's when the mystical ways of the little guy came out in full force. That devilish little smile and twinkling eyes are going to take that kid places.

The Hard Goodbye

Just as quickly as they arrived, they were gone. And the household fun was gone. It's always tough when the house goes quiet again. The little guy misses that energy that runs through the house. It's special.

Ooh, is Aunt Jaime offering up food

This Way Grandma

It's been a busy few days in this household. Mama's family came from Ohio and Los Angeles. And someone loved being the center of attention. After church on Sunday, we headed over to Tyler to see the tree houses (again). Someone loves this place...

Wow, is that ever a big tree. Which brings me to, if a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound. The proverbial question

Mama, can we make one of these in the backyard

And, of course, this is a personal favorite.

Let's go people, there are tree houses to see....

Company Picnic

Last weekend, we ventured out to Dada's company picnic. And it did not disappoint. Lots of food, live music and kid friendly. There's a reason his company is consistently ranked in Fortune as a great place to work.

But someone could care less about that company ranking. Why, you might ask? Choo Choo Mama. In this little boy's eyes, this company is the best ever because it's picnics have a Choo Choo.

Did Dada just steal part of my melting ice cream cone. Whatcha Talking About Willis
