Check out his feet

His new love. Pineapple

Silly Gooses!

Yesterday was my 1 year anniversary of my hip labrum surgery. Mama celebrated by doing an hour on the elliptical and 30 minutes lifting weights. Thank you Dr. Byrd

And because it was such a cold day outside, we did a ton of little things around the house. And the little guy, as usual, was right in the mix. Here we are being silly gooses with the pineapple top, which by the way was very mysterious to him

School Picture Day

I wanted desperately to get a picture of the little guy in front of our wheeping cherry tree, but true to form he was a man in motion. And after two quick pics, he glided down the sidewalk screaming Eat Eat Eat. Hopefully, his daycare pictures turned out a little better.

How are YOU. I'm fine. These are two of his hottest new catch phrases. Mama's favorite is still "Oh Why, Oh Why" as if to say Oh the injustice.

Quick haircut tonight. Did much better in the chair. Funny to watch everyone comment about his cute little voice. He even tried a How Are You, to one of the cutier girls, my little ladies man.

Yeah Dada!

My stud muffin still has it. He ran 6.33 mile rate during his 5k race on Sunday. Truth be told, the only time mama would run that fast is if the ice cream truck was leaving the neighborhood during a hot summer day. Now that's a reason to run at lightning speed.

Too much shopping= Exhaustion

Today we headed out to Lancaster so that mama could do some shopping. And the little guy couldn't stop pointing at all of the cows and horses. He loved it. Shopping not so much.

We did manage to find a cute outfit for Easter. Ladies, I think there is going to be one dapper little guy to swoon over.

And just when we were driving over to ride the train, the little guy completely konked out. Not even the word Choo Choo could open those eyes. So you know what that means, another trip to Amishland. Can you say MOO.

The Serious Business of Milk Drinking

It's been a busy week around here with all of the yard work. Mama's plants are really coming to life. And true to form, the little guy has been there lending a helping hand. We are definitely loving his work ethic. This is a little guy who loves to be involved. And what better way to rehydrate than with a nice cold cup of milk.

Going Organic

After some considerations, we decided to make the move to organic veggies and fruit. We have always bought certain things organic but now more than ever it seems right to wholly make the change.

A friend at work offered up this organic delivery service. Our first delivery was yesterday and was stocked with many goodies for the little guy. I really wish we had a local supplier but we couldn't locate one.

The little guy loves him some fruit, we're still working on the veggies

JJ Stealing the Little Guy's Pretzel

In an effort to get the little guy to sit still for a picture, Great Grandmom got the little guy a pretzel. But that sneaky little birthday boy, pulled it away just as we were about to take the picture. I love the little guy's reaction: what just happened here.

Happy Birthday Cous

Today, we headed up to Aunt T and Uncle J for JJ's first birthday. It was a great day filled with family and lots of good food. JJ is really starting to become a little man in his own right. And let's just say that he REALLY liked his cake.

Playing with Great Grandmom

Someone is quickly becoming the little guy's go to family member.

Playing with the birthday boy

Score: Week in Rewind

After a quick trip to DC, we're settling back into our routine. And with this fantastic weather, the little guy has been super happy.

Word of the day, bird. And yes, he says that with every bird we see.

A big shout out to a special uncle. Happy Birthday Uncle Dick, we love you.

Happy Birthday to cousin JJ as well. Will you learn to walk already, the little guy has many fun playdates in store.

Allergies, allergies please go away. The little guy has been struggling through some nose issue.

Mulch delivered. Now the hard work begins. Something tells me that my little helper will be right in tow.

And finally, Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Thank You Aunt Jaime & Uncle Mike

Today, we received a really nice gift from Aunt Jaime and Uncle Mike. A DVD for learning Korean. Aunt Jaime is our Korean connection. And we are so lucky to have that connection because we really want him to understand his wonderful heritage. We're proud that he is Korean and want him to have that same pride. And that starts with knowing the Korean language. Our goal is for a bilingual.

A big thank you to Jaime's parents who are in LA visiting. We certainly hope he's on his way to great things. And we're certainly hoping (in the future) that we can all meet up in Korea so that we can give him a first hand perspective of his homeland. It is such a remarkable country

What a day

You can almost smell springtime in these parts. And with temperatures hitting 70 degrees, that meant full fledge outdoor time with the little guy. First, we inspected mama's flowers and trees. Look mama, buds

The little guy supervised Trojan chasing after the neighbor's dog. As the little guy would say "No No"

And finally, the little guy stretched his legs by pushing his truck around. And I do mean, around and around. There is no stop in him.

All of this outdoor time konked the little guy out quickly. He's fast asleep. Aw, isn't springtime wonderful.

It's a beautiful day

Baby Z

As we start the process to finalize adoption, we came across the first set of pictures sent to us of the little guy. It's hard to imagine that a year ago at this time we could only dream what the little guy would be like. Today, it is equally hard is to imagine what life would be like without him. Isnt it amazing how a beautiful dream can become an even more amazing reality!

Locks of Love

Ok, I'm just going to say it. The little guy is blessed with perfect Korean hear. Jet black, silky smooth and never needing combed. Does hair getting any better!

Awe the sacrifices made for beauty. There better be a cookie involved

Snip, whatcha talking about mama. Snip, no seriously whatcha talking about! Cut my beautiful hair, you must be kidding. Women swoon for such beautiful locks.
