TA DA
Yesterday we celebrated Dada's birthday in fine fashion. The little guy started the celebration by performing a hair raising stunt of climbing up the stool by himself. Look Mama, no hands

Mainline Mom's Sale!
Today we went over to what is quickly becoming one of our favorite sales, The Mainline Moms of Multiples (God bless those brave moms). We were able to buy a boat load of clothes for summer, including a too cute swimsuit.
The little guy will be one styling boy, what better way to pick up all the hot ladies at daycare. Can you say trend setter....
Thank You Grandma & Grandpa
Can you say lottery! More gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. A Choo Choo train. Man, life is good for the little guy, if only that darn nap didn't get in the way of playtime.

Happy Birthday Great Grandmom
We wanted to wish Great Grandmom a Happy Birthday. I always tell Mike that he is extremely lucky to have his still around (i miss both of mine dearly) They are special people to have in your life. And with Great Grandmom we hit the jackpot. A beautiful lady, in all respects, who only seems to get better with time.

Happy President's Day
The little guy is home with Mama celebrating our holiday. And true to form, there has been non-stop motion. That is until now, when the little guy konked himself into a bedtime stupor.

I did hear Milk
The little guy continues his love affair with milk. Or as he so proudly says ilk please.
Here's some random thoughts from our week:
As Linsanity has taken over the US, our hopes have been raised that the little guy might become the next Asian basketball sensation.
The little guy's new catch phrase, Hi Mama or Hi Dada
Someone is starting to show his independence when it comes to wearing shoes or clothes for that matter. Can you say exhibitionist.
Tugging on Trojan's tail is not funny
Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a charmer who likes to wink
And finally talent is God given. As we watched Whitney Houston be laid to rest, my hope is that the little guy finds his God given talent and never squanders it. We lost a treasure this week. Singers like that are hard to come by. Which leads me to another thought, maybe we have the next Korean singing sensation, we already know that he has the dance moves!

The Week that Was
Ever have one of those weeks where time seems to be speed up. Well that was our week. So welcome to a week in rewind. Let's start with Saturday and the first snow in quiet awhile.
Snow Mama
And to bring it all back to today. Snow, snow and more snow. Thankfully none of it really accumulating.

One Wild Year
Around this time a year ago, our life changed forever. Mike received a call that there was a match. Mama was busy working an audit and didn't receive the call because of poor cell phone reception. That is until I got home and checked my email. And there it was, number one with a bullet: B Baby Congrats from our social worker.
As the shock rolled over me, I sat trembling. We weren't expecting the call for another couple months. I cautiously opened the attachment and there you were as a newborn baby (long and slim). This was followed by a picture of you as a 6 month old. You had changed in that short period, chubby baby cheeks, long feet and wispy black hair. I was mesmerized. What to make of this beautiful little boy.
Around that time, Dada came home. He too was trying to put it all together, the first few pictures of our son. We immediately called our international doctor at Chop to set up an appointment to review your file. The rest of the night we both couldnt stop looking at your picture. I must have opened the email a hundred times. Looking at your deep brown eyes, I just knew, you were it kiddo.
The next day the doctor confirmed what we already knew. You were a keeper. Very cute, meeting milestones and in the 90 percentile in height and weight. As we hung up the phone, the doctor's parting words were that adoption is not without risk, but this little fella seems perfectly healthy and fine. Let this be a lesson to you. You will face risks in your lifetime. But we encourage you to face these risks, make calculated decisions and then live with no regret. The reward is oh so worth it. Thank you for making ours the best one we ever did.
