Truck Mama
You couldn't ask for a more perfect January day. A stellar 60 degrees. And the little guy certainly got his groove on. First with a long walk with the pups at the park and then back home on the deck.
And he successfully is making the transition to a bigger boy room at daycare. Which is much needed as he towers over his Wobbler class.

Carpet Cleaner
Today, we had our carpets cleaned and true to form the little guy wasted little time mimicking their cleaning. And yes, with very fashionable Winnie the Pooh slippers.

I'm not sleepy Mama
We've got ourselves a climber. And last night, the little guy demonstrated just what a little climber he can be (all night long I might add). Our clever little guy has figured out that if he hoists himself just so, he can get up and out of bed. And let's just say that none of us do very well without sleep, but especially the little guy.
I'm pretty sure that we now have it under control, because he is now sound to sleep in less than 5 minutes. Someone graduated to a big boy bed.

Thank You GMA & GPA
Hide & Seek
Lately, the little guy has really gotten into hide and seek. And usually after bath time while still naked (I know, I fear the little guy may be an exhibitionist). This usually means mama hides while the little guy runs full steam ahead to find me. With a big grin I should add. Tonight he took matters into his own hands and hid behind the curtain. One little problem his big hand and foot gave him away.

Trojan's Sneak Attack
Just when he thought "my Teddy Graham's are safe", Trojan orcestrated a sneak attack. Unfortunately, she slightly miscalculated her angle of attack and came up empty handed.
I may have lost this battle but I will not lose the war, thought Trojan, especially with an oven roasted chicken in store for dinner.

Lately, the little guy has been giving us serious push back with his nap. In typical fashion, he simply has determined that they are no longer needed. Which, in turn, has resulted in the behavior of a 90 year old man: falls asleep on a whim, snores loudly, jerks himself awake and is seemingly unaware of the world around him. Couple this with the tired blank stare and well you get the point. Someone seriously needs his nap!

Shopping with the little guy
Did you notice our genius idea to keep his hat on. That's right we had to pull out the last resort. The dreaded hat on top of hat play. Match, set and game to mama and dada!

New Hair Cut
It has been an eventful week, especially for mama. I'm still recovering from a nasty sinus infection. Darn you colds. As for the little guy, he continued to romp around the house. He, for one, doesn't let a little cold weigh him down.
On Thursday, we all got a much needed haircut. And the little guy did pretty well with his. The first attempts were pretty funny. We had him in the chair with Dada holding him. His little head twisted each time she snipped (we cant get anything past him). This time, I held him and we distracted him with a cookie. And Melissa who is 7 months pregnant with twins did a great job. Cookie Monster Loves Cookies

UH (imagine Doo fom Homer Simpson but said continously)
We have heard this uttered from the little guy for months. Turns out he was actually listening to what we were saying. Here he is responding to Dada's instructions to put on his shoes. And these days, he often mimicks what we say. He's become quiet the chatterbox. So much so that daycare has even mentioned it. She also mentioned that his voice is deep. What else would you expect from such a suave little boy. I'm sure he puts on his best Marvin Gaye when talking to the ladies of daycare. We, however, just hear a high pitch UH.

Party Like A Rock Star
Yes, when you are that darn cute, you get a rock star following. Especially when showing off on one of your high end rides.

Special Visit Today
Today, we got a special visit from Pop Pop, Mom Mom, and Great Greandmom. And the little guy ran around with delight. Here he is charming Great Grandmom with a kiss.

Late Christmas Present
As would luck would have it Santa delivered a late XMAS present. And boy was the little guy thrilled. Of course, it took him a little while to figure out what to make of his new ride. But then, reality set in. Mama, what a great way to pick up the chickaroos. Where is the hot girl next door when you need her.
Beautiful Outside
The last 2 days have been unseasonably warm, which is all right by mama. So the little guy has been busy getting his game on outside. Here we are taking a walk with the pups
Free at last
Look mama, you can't catch me. The little guy has the uncanny ability to look like he is running one way and then sway completely the other way. Or as I like to say he runs like a drunken sailor!

The Sad Goodbye
Yesterday, we packed up and headed home. It's always a tough day, but especially this year with the little guy. My mom and dad have fallen hard and fast for him (who could blame them because he such is a charmer). I'm pretty sure the little guy misses them as well.
In true little guy fashion, he did pretty well on the long drive home. There were the occasional outbursts (wait a minute, that was mama). But for the most part, he either pointed at stuff (wanting to know what it was) or intently looked outside.

Walking the dogs
My mom did double duty babysitting the pups as well. Here she is taking them out for potty time. Now if only we could get the little guy to understand potty time, life would be grand!
Breakfast Time
A friend once told me that you can always spot a mother. And there is some truth to that. It's amazing to watch those motherly instincts in real time. The little guy is lucky to have two grandmothers and one great grandmother in his family. The best part is that they are not only mothers, but really good ones.
